I am a bit of a geek.
From board leadership, to revenue generation, to operations, measurement, financial and accountability, and staffing. I coach, train & consult but I am most proud to be a pioneer, a bridge builder & an advocate for the social enterprise movement.

Tammy Charles
A native of New York, Tammy graduated top of her business class in 2012 from the University of Tampa with Magna Cum Laude distinction in Business Management. She later received her MBA and Nonprofit Leadership Certificate in 2016. Recently she was accepted the prestigious University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Social Impact Strategy Executive Certificate Program. Currently, Tammy is the Founder and Chief Strategist at Inovo Strategic Consulting. She is also the Founder and Managing Director for Tampa Bay Spark — a social enterprise focused on leveraging innovation, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and social impact to spark change in Tampa Bay’s entrepreneurial economy.
Tammy is an Adjunct Professor at The University of Tampa and Hillsborough Community College where she is teaching Business, Management, and Social Entrepreneurship. She is also an instructor at Ultimate Medical Academy where she is teaching Accounting and Business Management to healthcare students.
As a highly engaged member of the community, Charles is an active leader with multiple organizations. She is a graduate of Mayor’s Neighborhood University — a community leadership development program for Tampa residents. She is a board member for the Everyday Entrepreneur Venture Fund at Hillsborough Community College. She is the Founder and Director of Women in Leadership — a ministry dedicated to empowering women to utilize their God- given gifts and skills to lead and pursue their calling.
Charles has received numerous awards and accolades including receiving the prestigious 2018 Deanne Dewey Roberts Emerging Leader Award with the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce becoming the first woman of color in the Chamber’s history to receive this honor. She was the 2019 Co-Chair for the Tampa Organization of Black Affair’s MLK Leadership Breakfast. She has also received the 2014 President Bill Clinton’s Commitment to Action Award, 2016 Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Up and Comer Award for the Under 30 Category, 2017 New Leaders Council Fellow, and was honored by The University of Tampa with the 2017 Young Alumnus Award for her professional accomplishments and civic engagement. She was also nominated for the Best Networker Award with Creative Loafing.
In her spare time (if she ever has any), she enjoys going to church, talking walks at the riverwalk, hanging our with her family and friends, listening to music, eating pho, and watching silly animal videos on Instagram.

The fundamental issues I help my clients address first begin with organizational infrastructure.
I help my clients think bigger than fundraising when developing their plans. I use frameworks to help them clearly articulate their outcomes and impact to invite more stakeholders to be a part of their mission.
Training
Clients value actionable plans and frameworks to help them scale, grow, and expand their missions to impact for people through their work. Through clear strategy and training, they will be able to attract more partners and funders to transforms more lives.
